A bit about me:
I am a writer, and currently make my living as the Mystery Maiden, writing murder mystery games for sale at Shot In The Dark Mysteries. I have been dealing with the stay-in-bed-for-two-days-at-a-time side of depression, as well as trying to overcome generalized anxiety disorder. This is important to understand when I say that in the past five days, my stupid "I love my puppy" grin has not left my face.
Our dog is a golden lab and is almost 9 weeks old. His name is Coburn, naamed after a street in Edinburgh on which Himself and I lived years ago. The street is actually called Cockburn, but most people don't know how to pronounce it properly, so I'll spell it phonetically.

He's going to be a tank. You can tell just by the size of him now... If he's energetic enough, we should run him with Walker...
Ooh, he's got enough energy, that's for sure! Where do you run Walker?
Generally at the off leash park by Harvest Hlls. If he likes to chase and wrestle, he'll love Walker...
He's so puurty. Animals will do wonders for your disposition. My partner suffers from depression as well and he's found that pets help a lot
No kidding, Rav'n! I haven't laughed so hard in months.
Matt - yeah, turns out he DOES love to wrestle, or so I found out this past weekend at the farm. Took on a full grown German Shephard/Rottweiler cross and played without thinking twice!

Yup! It shows :) .. I've had dogs all my life since I was born .. but I saw the same grin on my wife's face when I finally got her a dog on her 40th birthday ..
Everyone was getting tired of my stories that I was successful (in my mind) getting her Budgie bird to sit, fetch and whistle the theme from Star Trek .. I missed having a dog! We now have two and a cat.
